Timbaland to release album on phone

London, Feb 9 (IANS) Hip-hop star Timbaland is set to become the first artist ever to release an album only on a mobile phone network.Timbaland has signed a deal with US phone network Verizon to release a song from his album each month, contactmusic.com reported.Timabland, who is known to collaborate with other stars, has promised tracks featuring many guest singers.
He said: "Every place doesn't get a CD but everybody has a mobile phone. Just producing a mobile album has never been done. I'm the first to ever do it."
