Amrita Rao makes cameo appearance in 'Shaurya'

Mumbai, Feb 15 (IANS) Actress Amrita Rao has made a cameo appearance in Shaurya, a movie directed by Samar Khan."Amrita Rao is indeed in my film. Just how it happened is an interesting story. I did not intend to cast her. But she's a dear friend and I wanted her in my film. So I cast her in a very special role. I guess I'm blessed to have so many friends in the industry," said the journalist-turned-director.

This is Khan's second movie.

Khan is full of praise for Amrita's professionalism. "We were supposed to shoot only for a day. But that stretched to two days. Amrita gave us time, without complaining," Samar said.

But she was not happy with her dubbing. "She did it again and I love the way she was focused even if it was a cameo appearance. Not just Amrita, I had a dream cast in Shaurya. Rahul Bose, K.K. Menon, Deepak Dobriyal and Minissha Lamba... all of them went out of their way to make sure Shaurya turns out to be a special movie," Khan said.
