Abhishek Bachchan is the son of legendary actors Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. His career was off to a shaky start after his debut in J.P. Dutta's Refugee (2000). It was not until 2004 when he become noticed for a critically acclaimed performance in Yuva and followed it up with his first career major hit in Dhoom. His performance in Yuva was praised for which he received his first Filmfare Award in the Best Supporting Actor category and went on to win many other awards. Bachchan married former Ms. World winner and actress Aishwarya Rai in 2007 after a failed engagement to actress Karisma Kapoor, which ended in January 2003.
