Where is Rani?This is the question on many lips as Rani Mukherji seems to have become a recluse.
It seems she has cut off communication with most of her old friends, including Manish Malhotra, Urmila Matondkar and Dia Mirza, which seems to include ignoring calls.
Why has Rani changed so much?
She used to attend important social functions, especially if it was hosted by someone close to her. However, recently she did not attend the wedding of Dr. R.K. Agarwal's daughter, which shocked many of her industry friends as it was expected she would certainly come out for that occasion at least.
TOI has quoted a source as saying, "The change in Rani's behaviour is inexplicable. Her friends want her to be the old Rani again but all she wants is to be left alone. She has become a very, very private person."
Has Aditya Chopra's reticence rubbed off on her?
She is not the first celebrity to choose to be very private, but this was not her manner for many years, so the sudden change is very puzzling.
Hopefully Rani will clear matters, and if she does choose remain within her private world, at least let her fans know all is well with the much beloved actress.
