Despite 104 Fever, Vivek Keeps Greenathon Commitment

Many celebrities have taken part in the NDTV-Toyota Greenathon, which helped to raise over 1.6 crores to solar power over 55 villages in India through TERI's Lighting a Billion Lives initiative in its first year. The commitment was reaffirmed as the website stated, "With the support of the nation we hope to light many more villages across India."
Vivek Oberoi took part in the NDTV Greenathon, though, many would say he should not have done so as he was quite ill, as he stated in his tweets following his part in the event.
"Greenathon was awesome! The audience was sooooooo supportive and sweet!
"They knew I had 104 fever and was yet there 2keep my commitment & so they were cheering me & inspiring me thru it all!
"Loved them 4the support & encouragement, wudnt have been able 2pull off that kind of dancing without their energy
& of course the 3 injections the doc gave me...ouch x3!!!"
One certainly admires Vivek's dedication, but a 104 fever is no laughing matter, it can cause seizures and can be dangerous. So, it would have been understandable if he had sought full medical care and opted out of the event.
